On Air magazine reveals in the October issue a new collection of products for the Autumn/Winter Season 2015/16. Along with the new items, promotions and new brands, such as Pandora, we celebrate 15 years of the Flower by Kenzo fragrance. We travel to Esporão, located in Reguengos de Monsaraz.
This prestigious Estate, with its wonderful vineyards and the Alqueva on the horizon, provided the background for the photographic production of this number, in which we highlight the work of the designer Valentim Quaresma, a name to retain in the haute jewellery universe.

Here comes the Sun
The new edition of TAP Portugal inflight sales magazine went to Algarve, recognized as one of Europe's leading beach destinations. In Tavira, the fantastic beaches of white sand and crystal water of Fuseta, accessible by boat, were the perfect scenery for the photo shoot. Here, in the heart of the famous Ria Formosa natural park, all the conditions are met for the kitesurf and stand-up paddling practice. Get to know the recently awarded Ozadi Tavira Hotel, designed thinking of those who like to practice sports in communion with nature.

Summer is on!
The new edition of On Air magazine is already on board TAP Portugal. We took a tuk tuk to Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon, and held a photographic production in the amazing Hotel Valverde. In this issue we celebrate the centenary of Caran d'Ache with an interview with Carole Hübscher, Head of the Board of Directors, and we get to know some of this fascinating story. The new edition of ON AIR magazine is already on board TAP Portugal. This issue has a photographic production held at Pousada de Faro – Estoi Palace, and a report on 2014 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, held in Cannes last October. In this regard, there are the interviews with Erik Juul-Mortensen, President of TFWA, and Vincent Boinay, Managing Director L'Oréal Travel Retail (the world leader in the cosmetics industry).

The Monte Palace Tropical Garden and Pestana Casino Park Hotel were the locations where it took place. The magazine features an exclusive interview with Thierry Wasser, the in-house perfumer for Guerlain.

ON AIR magazine presents the new Spring/Summer 2014 collection

The TAP Portugal shopping on board magazine has a new edition. In addition to a new set of fragrances, cosmetics or accessories, you can find an interview with Olivier Martinez, Ambassador L'Homme Sport Yves Saint Laurent and an article on the 108 years of the Montblanc. The photo shoot was performed at the factory Tapeçarias Ferreira de Sá, in Espinho, the oldest existing company producing traditional hand-made rugs.


LFP is nominated for Marketeer Awards

The LFP-Lojas Francas de Portugal is named for the first time for Markeeter awards in the category of "Specialized Distribution". These awards are in its 6th edition and select and appoint each year the best companies and brands in Portugal.
In the category of "Specialized Distribution" are selected the following companies: LFP, IKEA, Multiópticas, Sportzone, Staples and Worten. TAP is also nominated in these awards for the category of "Airline Company". The voting is done online until May 4.
The ceremony to delivery Marketeer awards will be on May 22.


New winter edition of On Air magazine

The TAP Portugal shopping on board magazine has a new issue, edited by Lojas Francas de Portugal, with a new photography session took in Douro. This time presents a set of black and white photographs made ??on bridges in Régua and Pinhão, where we find a road bridge designed by Gustav Eiffel in the nineteenth century. It also features the look of French photographer Georges Dussaud on the Douro 80s – a collection of the Douro Museum, and an exclusive interview with Gwyneth Paltrow, ambassador of the fragrances Boss Jour and Boss Nuit Pour Femme.

wins the "Best New Shop Opening 2012"

The Duty-Free Store - Just for Travellers store at Lisbon airport, inaugurated on May 2012, won the award for "Best New Shop Opening 2012" during the gala DFNI Global Travel - Retail Excellence 2013! This is a very important and recognized global premium and is assigned by vote of the major elements of the duty-free industry. This reveals the quality and success of our new store and is also the reflection of the impact of its opening event in the industry. DFNI Global Awards for Travel-Retail Excellence took place during the DFNI Charity Ball on the evening of April 19
at the Lancaster Hotel in London.

LFP Wins the “The Best Retail Company 2011”

LFP- Lojas Francas de Portugal was considered the best retail company, according to the magazine "Exame" in its issue - 500 Biggest & Best Companies - supplanting retail multinational companies present in Portugal. This is the third time that LFP is rewarded by this publication, the second consecutive time.
In 2011, LFP achieved a total sales growth of 143 million Euros, corresponding to a growth of 6.5 percent compared to the previous year. The combination of this sales growth with the constant improvement of management practices yielded a net profit of about 8.5 million, representing an increase of 15.3 percent over 2010. Contributed to this outcome measures to optimize and streamline the management, initiated in previous years, a pair of tight cost control. Nuno Amaral, Managing Director of LFP refers that "these results were obtained in an extremely adverse scenario, which illustrates the strength and resilience of the company that is subject to strong external pressure still managed to reinvent herself and historical results." The administrator adds "It was the best ever results of the company."

LFP wins Lisbon Airport – Non-Aviation Award

LFP has renewed its mainshop at Lisbon Airport with a new concept of walktrough, unique in Portugal, now offering a retail space with 2.500 square meters. With the name Duty Free Store I Just for Travellers, this store features a dynamic concept, where passengers to access to boarding gates, runs the store through a main corridor of 5m, which will arise on both sides the most attractive offers. Inside the store appear distinct spaces, with specialty boutiques for whiskey, tobacco and perfumes.
The store features an impressive P&C offer, with some 550 square metres dedicated to an extensive array of international and local brands, catering to the diverse customer profile at this location, which includes a high proportion of Portuguese, European and South American travellers. Brand-boutiques have been developed to showcase some of the leading brands including Chanel, Dior, Lancôme and Giorgio Armani including cosmetics. New brands being introduced into Lisbon include Kiehls, Sisley, Body Shop and MAC making their debut to Portuguese duty free. A distinct ‘sense of place’ is also reinforced throughout, with more than 200 square meters of floor space dedicated to a ‘Taste of Portugal’ area, including a delicatessen section, as well as a significant wine and port wine offer for which Portugal is famed.
Customers can also enjoy permanent tasting opportunities
for port wine, table wine and local deli item.

LFP wins Lisbon Airport – Non-Aviation Award

LFP-Lojas Francas of Portugal won the "Lisbon Airport 2011 – Non Aviation Award" at the ANAWARDS 2012 ceremony , held on February 28 during BTL – International Tourism Exhibition in FIL. This event, organized by the Lisbon Airport, takes place every year and aims at rewarding the performance of airlines and retailers operating at the airport.
Nuno Amaral, LFP’s Managing Director said “this award shows the recognition by the Lisbon Airport of the continuous effort that LFP puts in the development of the retail areas, specially in 2011 with the high investments in new retail spaces namely the complete refurbishment of the duty-free store as well as the opening of 4 new high-end fashion and accessories stores.”
The event was attended by over hundred participants, including representatives of ANA - Airports of Portugal, airlines, handlers, several official entities and various other personalities connected with the airline industry and tourism.

Ferragamo, Zegna and Montblanc at Lisbon Airport

The LFP-Lojas Francas de Portugal opened three luxury shops, at the opening of the first phase of the new commercial area of Lisbon Airport. Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermenegildo Zegna, Montblanc become part of the list of brands that the company offers at Lisbon airport.
In the current portfolio of Salvatore Ferragamo found, in addition to the iconic shoes, a wide range of leather goods, silk and accessories, all wrapped in an atmosphere of comfort, sophistication and art.
In the brand store Ermenegildo Zegna, already present in more than 60 international airports, are available to customers accessories and a whole line of prêt a porter. The space Montblanc brand, synonymous of quality and design, combined for over 100 years to writing, invites to a journey into the world of writing accessories, watches, bags and accessories for men (belts, cufflinks, key rings ...).To lead the investment at Lisbon airport in the area of ??luxury and fashion, LFP will open another store soon: Polo Ralph Lauren, and thus have a portfolio of 12 distinct and innovative shops at this airport.

LFP it’s the best retail company in Portugal

Lojas Francas de Portugal (LFP) won, for the second consecutive year, the award for Best Retail Company to operate, among the 500 Biggest & Best Companies in Portugal. The conclusion was reached by Exame magazine, based on a series of indicators and economic and financial ratios, with which the profile of the main companies in their respective fields are traced. The award refers to the year 2010.
Nuno Amaral, LFP's Managing Director explains that the good performance of the company in 2010 resulted from "a strategy based on three pillars: increasing the profitability of the operation; an organic growth by expanding the activity to Madeira airport and the increase the number of stores in Lisbon and Porto, and reducing costs."
Founded in 1995, LFP results from a joint venture between TAP (Portugal's leading airline) with 51% and the Nuance Group (world leader in airport retail) with 49%. The company is a leader in the retail sector in national airports, which makes the operation of 26 duty free shops at Lisbon, Oporto, Faro, Funchal, Ponta Delgada, Horta and Santa Maria airports. The company also manages on-board sales at TAP, Euroatlantic and STP Airways.
